“Patience and good humour”I was always impressed with Suresh's patience and good humour, he explained instructions clearly and coherently never batting an eyelid when I ask that he repeated them again (and again!). His relaxed and friendly manner puts even the most nervous of learner drivers at ease and makes you feel confident in your own ability. Most importantly, he is a great teacher and gets the results both in the tests and creating safe and happy drivers. Elena Hall, Camberwell, London |

In order for you to be able to sit your practical driving test when the time comes, you will need to have passed your theory test. Your driving instructor in Streatham, Putney or Kingston will be able to advise you about how to go about booking your driving theory test and they will also tell you when you are ready to put in for your practical driving test. The theory test was introduced to ensure that all new drivers had a good grasp of the Highway Code as well as having knowledge of different road uses, conditions and to test their awareness of hazards that can come up at any time whilst you are out driving. The theory test consists of two parts, the first is the multiple choice questions and the second is a hazard perception test. There are fifty multiple choice questions which you must answer in 58 minutes. Each question has four possible answers and you must use your the knowledge that you have learnt during your driving lessons and from your revision to answer the questions correctly. After you have completed this, there is the hazard perception test. This consists of fourteen clips which each contain a hazard which you must spot in the correct amount of time. Then read the FREE "Essential Guide To Choosing Your Driving Instructor".
