Choosing The Lessons

Duration

Two hour lessons are far more valuable than one hour lessons so that there is plenty of time to adjust to being in the driving seat. Make sure your this is on offer from your chosen driving school. Be aware that a cheaper rate that a school offers may turn out to be a bit of a misnomer as it may be for a shorter lesson, say 45 minutes rather than an hour. Check this out before booking.

Intensive Courses

Whilst the thought of taking just a week or two to pass your test does sound appealing to some, the drawbacks are that the student will not experience all driving conditions. The stress can build up over the week and if a driver has only ever known stress behind the wheel then this will be carried through once they have passed their test and are fully licensed. Additionally, if you have a bad lesson, you can’t simply put it behind you and forget it as you have to keep going continuously until the course is over. If, on the other hand, it’s one final push you need before a test, then an intensive course may offer the perfect solution.
