...a quality driving instructor..I had Suresh as my driving instructor. He is undoubtedly one of the best in business. What I liked about him was his professionalism. Unlike most other schools who are trying to fleece you by asking you to sign up for more classes than you need, Suresh told me during our first class that I needed another couple of classes since I had been driving abroad for the last 8 years. He understands your weak points well and will drill it down your head till you amend them. I found his constructive criticism very helpful. He's well spoken and doesn't get upset even if you keep committing the same mistake. All in all, I would unreservedly recommend him to anyone looking for a competent driving instructor. ADS recommend doing a circuit which starts on Alington Grove, takes the first right on to Stratton Avenue and then turns left on to Carleton Avenue. We can then take the first left on to Hamilton Way. At the end of the road we can emerge left on to Alington Grove. Turning left on to Stratton Avenue and left again on to Carleton Avenue allows us to take the first left on to Hamilton Way. If we emerge right we are back on to Alington Grove. At the end of the road emerging right takes us on to Carleton Avenue. Taking the first right we are on Hamilton Way. We can then emerge left back on to Alington Grove. This allows the learner to practice steering, MSPSL and Peep and Creep techniques.
The crossroads of Stafford Road, Woodcote Road and Stanley Park Road can be used to illustrate priorities and the extra observation applied at crossroads. This junction can also be used to provide instruction on the methods of turning right-to-right at a crossroads..
The roundabout where Stanley Park Road and Boundary Road come together; can be used to illustrate priorities, methods of positioning and the appropriate signals for a given exit.
Driving down Forresters Drive, Sandy Lane South or Stafford Road there are plenty of crossings which can be used to demonstrate the various different types of crossings and the rules applying to road markings. Planning issues can also be addressed on these roads.
The Reverse around the Corner exercise can be carried out where Church Road meets Church Hill. The parallel park can be done in Buckingham Way. The Turn in the Road is easily demonstrated on either Buckingham Way or Church Road.
