“Tailored teaching methods”

From the first time I sat behind the wheel, Suresh made me feel totally at ease, after a quick assessment lesson he was able to personally tailor his teaching method which enabled me to get the most out of every session.

Not only were the lessons well planned out, Suresh also made them fun and enjoyable from the smallest details like how to check tyre pressure, right through to the big details like emergency stops.

This is why I was able to pass 1st time with only 3 minors in just 18 hrs worth of lessons. Suresh is truly in my opinion the best in the business and I would recommend him 100% to anyone who wants to start learning how to drive.

Areas to do controls/Moving off & Stopping

A quiet road like Thistledene is suitable for this.

Left/Right turns and emerging at T-Junctions

A circuit that is suitable for practicing left and right turns as well as emerging at T-Junctions  begins on Ennismore Gardens, follows left on to Elsworthy and emerges left on to Thistledene. From here the first left takes the student on to Denleigh Gardens. At the end of this road, emerging right takes us back on to Ennismore Gardens. Steering, MSPSL and Peep and Creep techniques can be practiced here.

Meeting Traffic

When two cars meet and yet there is only room for one to pass, this is known as meeting traf?c. The body language of the other car is key to knowing how to proceed safely. Embercourt Road and Watts Road are suitable areas to develop understanding of this particular topic.

Roundabouts

The roundabout where High Street, Boyle Farm Road and St. Leonard`s Road meet is perfect for learning to negotiate roundabouts correctly. Priorities and correct signaling for any exit can be illustrated here.

Pedestrian Crossings and use of Signals

The Portsmouth Road provides the student with plenty of crossings and signals to become accustomed to. This road also enables planning issues to be addressed.

Areas to do maneuvers

Denleigh Gardens and Sterry Drive provide a good area for reversing around a corner. The corners of Elsworthy and Thistledene are also suitable. For turns in the road and parallel parking try Ennismore Gardens.
