...”I recommend Suresh and Affinity Driving School”...My experience of Affinity has been excellent from day one. I feel I have really benefited from my instructor's (Suresh) calm and friendly teaching style. My lessons have always been well thought out and based around my learning style. I feel I have progressed well and gained confidence because of my instructor. I would highly recommend Affinity. Kayleigh O'Reilly, Streatham Hill, London. |

We are delighted to be able to service the areas of Kingston Upon Thames (KT1 & KT2) with both automatic and manual driving lessons. Please see the information below which is designed to enable learners to practice key driving skills in tried and trusted areas. These are the areas used by our Kingston Upon Thames based driving instructors to train their learners around Kingston, Hampton Wick and Norbiton.
Normansfield Avenue is a good place to begin practicing moving off and stopping and learning how to use the controls.
The circuit ADS recommends begins on Normansfield Avenue, then turns right on to Glamorgan Road. At the end of this road emerge left on to Seymour Road and emerging right will take you on to Lower Teddington Road. A right will take you on to Station Road, at the end of which you emerge right on to Seymour Road. A left turn here returns the student on to Glamorgan Road. At the end of Glamorgan Road we can emerge right to return to Normansfield Avenue where we started out. This circuit provides a tried and tested method for allowing the student to practice steering, MSPSL and peep and creep techniques.
A suitable roundabout can be found where Park Road, Manorgate Road, Clifton Road, Kingston Hill and London Road meet. The student can learn about priorities and positioning and the necessary signals to be used for any exit.
Kingston Hill and the Kingston one-way system provide plenty of pedestrian crossings and signals to enable the student to familiarize themselves with the varying types. This route also allows planning issues to be addressed.
Reversing around the corner can be rehearsed on the corner of Glamorgan Road and Monmouth Avenue. Parallel parking can also be carried out safely on Glamorgan Road as can the turn in the road exercise.
