“Glad my previous instructor let me down or I wouldn't have been able to learn with Affinity”I called upon Suresh late in the game as I had been let down by my previous instructor. I found the transition very smooth and immediately liked his teaching style- professional yet relaxed. I felt more and more comfortable and confident as we progressed and his easy teaching methods made even the most daunting maneuver seem easy. I am glad that my previous instructor let me down as otherwise I am sure I would not have passed if I had not been introduced to Suresh. I will definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive in the future. Thanks Suresh! Emily Conway, Brockley, London |

Ormond Drive is a good place to begin practicing moving off and stopping and learning how to use the controls.
The circuit ADS recommends begins on Ormond Drive and then takes the third left on to Manor Gardens and left again on to Cardinals Walk. At the end of this road emerge right on to Ormond Drive and then turn right on to Howards Close. Following the road to the right Howards Close becomes Warwick Close and following the compulsory right turn sign the road becomes Cardinals Walk. We should emerge right on to the main part of Cardinals Walk and then emege left on to Ormond Drive. Turning left on to Manor Gardens enables us to repeat the route. This circuit provides a tried and tested method for allowing the student to practice steering, MSPSL and peep and creep techniques.
The roundabout on Park Road is a good roundabout to learn about priorities and the necessary signals to be used for any exit.
Where High Street and Park Road meet is a suitable crossroad to learn about priorities and the necessary extra observation required at crossroads.
Hampton Hill High Street and Hanworth Road provide plenty of pedestrian crossings and signals to enable the student to familiarize themselves with the varying types.
Reversing around the corner can be rehearsed on the corner of Burtons Road and St.James Road. Parallel parking can also be carried out safely on St.James Road as can the turn in the road exercise.
