“Thoroughly prepared”I had no prior experience of driving a car before I started my lessons with Affinity, and I had a fairly ambitious goal of passing within 2 months. Thanks to Suresh's knowledge, comprehensive approach, and well thought-out methods for approaching the manouevres which any new driver is required to learn, I felt thoroughly prepared when it came to my test and was delighted to pass first time. I would wholeheartedly recommend Suresh & Affinity Driving School to anyone. Alastair Nicholls, Camberwell, London |
We are delighted to be able to serve the area of the Fulham (SW6) with both automatic and manual driving lessons. Please see the information below which is intended to help develop your key driving competencies further. It has been provided by our fully DSA-licensed driving instructors.
Stevenage Road is ideal for practice of moving off and stopping.
A circuit that we would recommend begins on Stevenage Road. From here the student should turn right on to Gresswell Street which then emerges right onto Woodlawn Road. The third right from here would take the student on to Doneraile Street. At the end of this road, emerge left back on to Stevenage Road and from here follow the road around until you are on to Bishops Park Road. The student should take the next left back on to Woodlawn Road and then the next left after that on to Cloncurry Street to then emerge right on to Stevenage Road once more. This circuit provides a tried and tested method for allowing you to practice steering, MSPSL and peep and creep techniques.
There are crossroads on Woodlawn Road and Inglethorpe Street that are ideal for learning about priorities and the extra observation that is needed at crossroads. Right-to-right crossroads and the correct methods for negotiating them can be practiced at the junction of Lillie Road, Silverton Road and Fulham Palace Road.
When two cars meet and yet there is only room for one to pass, this is known as meeting traffic. The body language of the other car is key to knowing how to proceed. A good place to learn more about this topic is Queensmill Road.
Priorities and the correct positioning can be illustrated where Woodlawn Road and Lysia Street come together.
Fulham Palace Road holds a great number of different types of pedestrian crossings where the student can develop a good understanding of this topic and the rules and road markings that are involved.
Where Harbord Street meets Stevenage Road is perfect for the reverse around the corner maneuver to can be practiced. Stevenage Road is also ideal for the student to practice the parallel park and also the turn in the road.
