“Affinity are without a doubt professional and have the knowledge to see what each individual needs to pass”After deciding to get my driving license and wanting to pass my test I chose to do this with Affinity driving school. Arek my instructor was very patient and knew exactly what was needed for me to pass. I am pleased to say after 3 months of Arek's help I passed my driving test! I would definitely recommend Arek and Affinity driving school. I felt comfortable and at ease and never felt pressured. To pass your test you must feel comfortable with the school and instructors and Affinity are without a doubt professional and in my experience have the knowledge to know what each individual learner driver needs to pass their test. I would like to say a big thank you for Arek's time and help in the last 3 months, I couldn't have done it without you! Rebecca Blake, Surbiton, Surrey |

Devonshire Mews is the perfect road to practice the basics of driving such as moving off and stopping. It is a very quiet street where the student can also get to grips with the controls of the car.
Affinity Driving School recommends the following circuit for carrying out turns and emerging at T-junctions:
Begin on Chiswick High Road, heading towards King Street (which Chiswick High Road becomes). Take the right hand turn onto Duke Road and continue along until you reach Fraser Street. Once you are on Fraser Street, take the first left onto Dale Street and then the second left onto Reckitt Road. At the end of this road turn right which brings you back onto Duke Road. Continue along Duke Road until you arrive back onto Chiswick High Road.
This circuit provides a tried and tested method for allowing you to practice steering, MSPSL and peep and creep techniques.
When two cars meet and yet there is only room for one to pass, this is known as meeting traffic. The body language of the other car is key to knowing how to proceed. Alwyn Avenue is a good street where the student can gain an understanding of this.
Wellesley Road, Walpole Gardens, Heathfield Terrace and Sutton Lane all meet at a roundabout where the student can practice and get a good understanding of how to negotiate and cross them safely. Priorities, positioning and the appropriate signals to use can be practiced here.
For the student to get practice negotiating pedestrian crossings, practice driving up and down Chiswick High Road as there are a variety to be found here.
Sharon Road is ideal for practicing a turn in the road and parallel parking. For reversing around a corner, try the corner of Sharon Road and Alwyn Avenue.
