“Found everything I was looking for in Suresh”

In June this year, I decided that this was the year I was going to learn to drive. I wanted to find an instructor who wouldn't rip me off, who would gave clear instructions and wouldn't get too stressed if I made a mistake, who would be able to give me lessons that fit around my work schedule and someone who was professional. I found all this in Suresh. I'm really glad I chose to go with Affinity.

Driving Schools Addlestone and New Haw (KT15)

We are delighted to be able to serve the area of Driving School Addlestone and New Haw (KT15) with both automatic and manual driving lessons. The information below is intended to help develop your key driving competencies. It has been provided by our fully DSA-licensed driving instructors.

Areas to do controls/Moving off & Stopping

A quiet road such as Sayes Court or Orchard Way is ideal for this.

The circuit that we would recommend is as follows: Start on Bois Hall Road, turn right on to Wren Crescent and you will then emerge left on to Heron Dale. Emerging on to the right will take the student back to Bois Hall Road. Take the next left on to Jubilee Crescent, at the end of which turn right back to Bois Hall Road. If you take the first right on to Bourneside Road and again first right you will end up back on Bois Hall Road. Steering, MSPSL and Peep and Creep techniques can be practised here.

Meeting Traffic

When two cars meet and yet there is only room for one to pass, this is known as meeting traf?c. The body language of the other car is key to knowing how to proceed correctly. Crockford Park Road is recommended for mastering this difficult topic.

Roundabouts

To illustrate priorities, positioning methods and correct signals at roundabouts, we can suggest the roundabout to be found on High Street or Station Road.

Pedestrian Crossings and use of Signals

The Addlestone Station Road contains a whole range of crossings and signals. Practising here will enable the student to become familiar with all the different types. This route also allows planning issues to be addressed.

Areas to do manoeuvres

The corner of Marsh Lane and Weston Avenue is suitable for reverse around a corner practice. Alternatively, the corner of Addlestone Park and Audley Close provides a quiet area for this manoeuvere. For turns in the road, try Marsh Lane. Marsh Lane is also ideal for parallel parking.
